Marie has been involved in real estate since 1997. She sold residential properties outside of Denver, Colorado then worked for the University of Denver’s Real Estate and Construction Management program working closely with the industry to create and produce residential and commercial educational conferences and forums.These organizational and leadership skills taught her the essence of being flexible but firm and the importance of listening closely to discern what is important to others. It also hooked her on the personal satisfaction of providing excellent customer service. Marie is a Certified Mediator and honed her negotiation skills volunteering at the Jefferson Country court system (Colorado) helping people avoid expensive lawsuits through Mediation.
A Midwesterner by birth, (Chicago, IL) she attended Central College (Pella, IA) before transferring and graduating from Drake University (Des Moines, IA). After over 30 years in Colorado, grandchildren reeled her to Iowa where she enjoys being involved with their activities as much as possible. She enjoys golf, hiking, snowshoeing and walks with her dog, Foxy.
